About Us

Veteran Owned Business

A US Navy Veteran, I was on active duty for almost 15 years. I enlisted in 2001 as an Electronics Technician (ET) and took my first set of orders to the USS Chancellorsville (CG-62) homeported in Yokosuka, Japan. After that tour I decided to change job fields (cross-rate) to an Information Systems Technician (IT): I then received orders to Naval Computer and Telecommunications Station, Sigonella, Sicily, Italy. My follow on tours included:

  • Staff for Commander, Seventh Fleet (COMSEVENTHFLT), embarked on-board the USS Blue Ridge (LCC-19), Yokosuka, Japan
  • The Joint Intelligence Operations Center (JIOC), Pearl Harbor, Hawaii
  • Naval Mobile Construction Battalions 4 & 5, Port Hueneme, Ventura County, California
  • Selected, Accepted, and Promoted to Chief Petty Officer with NMCB 5 in 2013.

I started Navy Fleet Sheets during my tour on the USS Blue Ridge in 2009. I reached out for help from one of the smartest innovators I know - my Grandma Dee, who had been making very creative and comfortable quilts for years. We talked about the unique needs of a sailor’s rack - comfort, ease, and aesthetics - and I supplied her with the materials and the measurements. Once my new sheets arrived on-board it didn't take long before most of the crew got wind and wanted a set. I wasn't going to ask Grandma to make hundreds of sets of sheets so I did some research and thus Navy Fleet Sheets was started.

Navy Fleet Sheets has evolved since 2009. With huge support from the Coast Guard as well so we have dropped “Navy” and pressed on as “Fleet Sheets.” We have also added popular colors and embroidery options to our online retail products. Fleet Sheets delivers US domestic, Military FPO/APO, and international direct to Sailors and their families anywhere in the world. Our mission is:

“Improving the Quality of Life at Sea.”

We supply a range of textiles to all sectors of the U.S. Government, primarily to all branches of the military. More information can be found on our “Supply Support” page.

Though there are other small businesses out there providing similar products, please consider us and support Veteran Owned Businesses whenever possible.

To all the families & friends who make great sacrifices in support of your Officers and Sailors. To all active-duty, reserve, and veteran US Navy Sailors, US Coast Guard Sailors, and US Marines:

Thanks for standing the watch!
