I am the proud owner of my first sailboat. While my husband and I have been very happy with flat sheets tucked in, I decided boat life could be a bit more comfortable and elegant than that.

I found Gretchen and Fleet Sheets on web searches. I purchased sheets at a Macy's sale and sent them to her along with my first template. What came back was a beautiful, custom set for the fore cabin's v berth. I then added the aft cabin with a completely custom configuration. The results are beautiful.

Our sailing guests all comment on the luxurious sheets that actually stay in place night after night. Gretchen's work certainly supports my idea of sleeping in comfort and elegance.

Two years ago we had Gretchen make sheets for our v berth. I am very fussy about sheets- to the extent that I iron them so they will feel especially soft and smooth. These are wonderful! After several washings the sheeting is as comfortable as it was originally. And the fit is good. Gretchen uses some construction methods which are very clever. As someone who also sews, I am impressed with her creativity in making the sheets fit and accommodating my specific requests.

A terrific product, worth the expense, and Gretchen is excellent to work with—and on schedule! :)

The sheets arrived right on schedule and when I opened the box last night I was absolutely delighted at what I saw. The plastic bags were a real surprise and will be so handy on the boat.
